Women's National Team Identification Camp Slated in FL for Feb 13-15

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Team Handball is pleased to announce that the Women’s National Team (WNT) will host an official Identification Camp on February 13–15, 2026, at Westwood Academy in Fort Pierce, Florida.

As the program continues to build its roster for the current international cycle, this event serves as a key entry point for athletes seeking to join the USA Women’s National Team performance pathway. Launching the 2026 identification efforts at the new home of USATH's National Team Training Site provides an ideal high-performance environment for evaluating talent as the program advances toward the LA28 Olympic Games.

The three-day camp will feature standardized performance testing, technical and tactical skill development sessions, and competitive game play on Saturday and Sunday. The weekend begins Friday evening, with Check-In/Registration, an introductory Meeting and a Team Dinner provided for all attendees.

Athlete Eligibility and Registration

USA Team Handball is seeking U.S. passport-holding women aged 16 and older with elite athletic backgrounds (collegiate or professional) or substantial handball experience. Athletes should demonstrate strong physical capabilities, competitive drive, and adaptability to a fast-paced team environment.
No prior handball experience is required. High-performance crossover athletes from all sports are encouraged to participate.

Mandatory Registration Requirements:

● Sport:80 Registration: All participants must register through the Sport:80 portal and select “Senior Women’s National Team ID Camp” from the event list. Link here

● Membership & SafeSport: A current USA Team Handball membership and valid SafeSport certification are required for participation.

● Registration Fee: $150

Travel & Accommodation:

Athletes are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel, lodging, and their Saturday & Sunday meals.
