(The brand new MVM Dome will welcome 20,000 handball fans in Budapest)

The 2022 European Men's Handball Championship starts on Thursday, 13 January and handball fans in the U.S. will be able to watch every match of the competition on the European Handball Federation (EHF) streaming platform ehfTV.

The competition begins with the 24 nations being split into six preliminary groups of four teams each.  The top two teams from each group will advance to the Main Round where the teams will be divided into two groups of six nations.  The knockout stage will then consist of just 4 nations (the top two teams from each group) making the semifinals.

Over the course of 18 days (13-30 January) all 65 matches can be seen either live or on demand at ehfTV.  The Preliminary Phase will have matches each day starting at 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM (US ET).  And, with as many as 5 matches taking place at the same time it is virtually assured that there will be at least one close match or surprising upset taking place.  (Yes... Handball fans would be wise to have multiple devices available to catch all the action)

All 65 matches will also have English language commentary with veteran broadcaster calling all the matches to be played in Budapest.
