The 2nd half of the 2021-22 tournament season gets underway today with the15th edition of the Cal Cup. The competition, hosted by San Francisco CalHeat will feature 8 men's and 4 women's teams over 3 day (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

The men's competition may well be a preview of the National Championship Tournament as it features the 3 clubs that finished 1-2-3 at the last two National Championships played in 2018 and 2019. New York City (NYC) won the 2018 Championship with a victory over San Francisco CalHeat in the title match. CalHeat then turned the tables on NYC to take the title in 2019. Both sides have also represented North America in Super Globe Competitions. Also likely contending for a title is the New York Athletic Club (NYAC). The other 5 team participating are the Los Angeles Team Handball Club, Chicago Inter, CalHeat's 2nd team and collegiate sides West Point and Air Force

The women's competition features 2019 U.S Champions NYC and runners up, Chicago Inter. Rounding out the tourney field are hosts, CalHeat and the Los Angeles Team Handball Club

The first match between the Chicago and CalHeat Women's sides throws off today at 4:40 PM (Local) / 7:40 PM (US ET). All matches will be live streamed on CalHeat's Facebook page and YouTube Channel.
