USA Jr Women in Mexico / NACHC Championship Schedule Released
by USA Team Handball

(Team USA Contingent in Mexico )
The USA Jr Women's National Team has arrived in Mexico City for the North American & Caribbean Handball Confederation (NACHC) Jr Women's Handball Championships. The competition doesn't start till Monday and the team is conducting a pre event training camp at the Mexican Olympic Training Center.
Head Coach Rot had the following to say about the start of the camp:
"We had a strong first day of training camp, as all of the players really put out their best efforts despite very long travel days, summer-like weather, the time difference, and the altitude of Mexico City. They are a great group of young women, and I am honored to have such a dedicated and professional staff. It will be very important for all of us to continue the hard work over the course of the training camp in order to come together as a cohesive unit against Canada on Monday. This is a first and very important step in the development of our women’s junior national team program."
The schedule for the event has also been released and the four participating teams (USA, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Canada) will play a round robin (Monday-Wednesday), take a rest day on Thursday and then finish up with placement matches on Friday. The top two teams will secure berths to the Jr World Championships later this summer in Slovenia
