USA Team Handball today announced its list of 2021 Academic All-Americans. A total of 23 college students received this year’s award, with six individuals earning First Team honors and 17 earning Second Team
honors. The award is an annual recognition for collegiate handball players in the United States.

“Particularly this year with all of the challenges and hardship our college handball players faced due to COVID-19, it requires an incredible amount of hard work and perseverance to excel academically during a global pandemic. We are honored and proud to celebrate this year’s recipients of our Academic All-American award who overcame such difficulties,” said USA Team Handball CEO Ryan Johnson.

“With the collegiate handball landscape being a big priority for our sport moving forward, it is incredibly encouraging to see these terrific college students already representing our sport on our country’s college campuses. Congratulations to our Academic All-Americans and we cannot wait to see what you all accomplish in the future, especially as we slowly begin returning to in-person activities.”
