The USA qualified for the Pan American Games by prevailing in a two-match series versus Canada in March 2023 at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

Eleven of the athletes that secured qualification earlier this year are on the roster, with the other three being Amar Amitovic, Patrick Hueter, and Paul Skorupa, all of whom were on the squad for the 2023 IHF Men's Handball World Championships.

The Americans are slotted into Group B alongside Argentina, Cuba, and Uruguay.

When asked about representing the US at the tournament, Line Player Domagoj Srsen says, "Playing for the USA in the Pan American Games is a journey of unity, a testament to our dedication, and an opportunity to shine on the continental stage, proudly representing our nation with every stride and goal."
