USA Team Handball is now accepting applications for a Volunteer Sports Science Intern. The position is for one year and specific duties and responsibilities will include:
- The development of strength and conditioning and nutrition programs for national team athletes and programs.
- Performance analysis of match play utilizing developed tagging panels (volunteers will be taught this skill set)
- Development of educational materials for athletes, coaches and support staff
The education requirement for this position is bachelor’s degree in an area of sport science (e.g. exercise physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, sport analytics)
