USA Team Handball's Youth Men's National Team is set to compete at the 2025 IHF Men's U19 World Championship, with their campaign beginning on August 6 against Tunisia.

Head Coach Max Paulus' squad will look to better their 28th place finish at the 2023 edition of the tournament, where they secured one victory, a 33-26 win over Burundi.

Sixteen athletes have been named to the final roster. The selected athletes are:

Alvaro Alcover, Abdelrahman Awad, Vincent Bager, Edwin Bengtsson, Nuno Correia, Jorge Gomez de Santiago, Kaeden Kuhlmeyer, Nathaniel Long, Elvis Mescall, Kailan Morawski, Simon Neumaier, Iraj Sabouri, Wolf Simianer, Jacob Stegeby, Aaron Wolf-Bloom, Maximilian Zoller

Back in March, the Youth Men's National Team claimed the bronze medal at the IHF Trophy - Intercontinental Phase in Pristina, Kosovo, and look to continue that form into the World Championship, which will take place in Cairo, Egypt.

The Americans have been drawn into Group H alongside Czechia, Denmark, and Tunisia. Tunisia, who secured their qualification with a silver medal at the 2024 African Youth Championship, will be the opening opponent for the team, followed by a strong Denmark side, who won the silver medal at the last World Championship the following day. A matchup versus Czechia will round out the preliminary round slate.

Thirteen athletes from the bronze medal winning team earlier this year return to the World Championship roster, with Kuhlmeyer, Sabouri, and Stegeby completing the 16-man roster.

A busy summer will come to a close for Kuhlmeyer and Neumaier, who already competed at the 2025 IHF Men's U21 World Championship, representing the U.S. Junior Men's National Team. Even after being called-up after the tournament was already underway, Neumaier's 22 goals - over only 5 matches - ranked 4th on the team.
