USA Team Handball joins an extensive network of organizations that have partnered with the U.S. Soccer Foundation to offer the Coach-Mentor Training, including Orlando City SC/Orlando Pride, Chicago Fire Foundation, Houston Parks and Recreation Department, and the New York City Department of Education.

Individuals who fulfill the online education program will receive a certificate of completion, through the U.S. Soccer Foundation, which will be shared with USA Team Handball for record purposes. In addition, the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s Coach-Mentor Training Resource Hub provides additional information and documents to participants, which corresponds with the training.

“This is an exciting partnership to bring Coach-Mentor Training into the USA Team Handball community,” said Dr. Katlin Okamoto, Director, Coach-Mentor Training. “Team Handball’s commitment to high-quality coach training and ensuring all coaches are prepared to develop positive relationships and create safe team cultures for players is inspiring. We look forward to our continued work together and seeing Team Handball coaches and players excel together.”
