Alicia Hollowell
- 2008 U.S. Olympic hopeful
- Led Arizona to its seventh NCAA softball title in 2006 and was named the tournament’s most outstanding player
- Closed her career as Arizona’s all-time leader in wins, strikeouts and no-hitters
- Third on the NCAA’s all-time wins and strikeouts list
- Hollowell pitched eight no-hitters in 2005, including three perfect games

Before Hollowell led Arizona to the 2006 NCAA title, assistant coach Nancy Evans, a former UA star pitcher, praised her attitude: “When you are a team player, and you focus on the best for the team, then good things will happen to you," Evans said. “I’m her No. 1 fan right now.”
"Winning a national championship is what I came to Arizona to do," Hollowell said after pitching a 5-0 shutout against Northwestern to take the NCAA title.
