Tracy Barnes
- Qualified for the 2006 U.S. Olympic Team in biathlon, along with her twin siser, Lanny Barnes
- 2002 World Junior Championship silver medalist in relay
- 2003 U.S. National Champion in 10K Pursuit
- Qualified for 2003 Senior World Championships
- Tracy earn two 25th-place World Cup finishes, in the 10K pursuit and 7.5K sprint in Pokljuka, Slovenia
- Competed at the World University Games and was a member of the Junior World Championship Team in 2003
- 2003 recipient of the Walter Williams Award which goes to the top junior biathlete in the United States
- Biggest competitor and best friend is twin sister, Lanny.

- Spent winter 2004 travelling with her sister in Germany, Italy and Switzerland in an RV, while competing in every biathlon and ski race available

On competing with her twin sister: “During competitions, we’re always warming up with each other, skiing around, and it’s very rare to see that, I think, in our sport because it is an individual sport. A lot of teams think it’s funny that when you see one of us, you see the other one—we’re always together. Every once in a while, you’ll see the teams skiing together, but all the time, my sister and I are together.”
"The reason you see us on the ground after the race is we have left everything out on the course. We give it all we have."
