- 2005 World Curling Championships silver medalist in first appearance at Worlds
- 2006 Olympic team trial champion (undefeated)
- Defeated two-time Olympian and World champion Debbie McCormick rink in the finals of the Olympic trials 5-4 after defeating Patty Lank rink in semi-finals 7-6 in an extra end
- Named the All-Star Skip at the 2004 USA Curling Junior Nationals
- Won the 2001 Curtis Cup Award for Sportsmanship
- Began curling in sixth grade with her neighbor introduced her to the sport “The first year I hated it, but my father encouraged me to give curling a second chance, and I fell in love with it,” Schultz said.

- Favorite movies are Princess Bride, Miracle, Remember the Titans, Old School … sporting event is Minnesota Twins baseball … music is anything upbeat and she can sing to it
Just like many other curlers, Schultz also participated in other sports. In high school, Schultz made varsity every year and won MVP her senior year.
