"Having competed in three Olympics and being involved with the USA Women's National Volleyball Team for over a decade I am looking forward to this new challenge of being a coach/player," said Tara Cross-Battle on www.avca.org. "In being both a player and a coach hopefully I can bridge the gap in the relationship between the coaching staff and the players. I see the future of the USA Women's National Volleyball Team as very promising."
