O'Brien-Amico, Leah
- 2004 Olympic team member; 2000 Olympic gold medalist
- 1999 Pan American Games gold medalist
- Three-time first-team All-American and All-College World Series (1994, 1995, 1997)
- Red-shirted at the University of Arizona in 1996 to compete in the Olympic Games
- Since the 2000 Olympics, O'Brien-Amico spends her time speaking to children at schools, churches and youth groups nationwide
- Assisted at the grand opening of Nike's first store for women only in California
- Is married to husband, Tommy and they have one child together
O'Brien-Amico is a firm Christian and takes every opportunity she can to spread her faith to others. When she speaks to teen-agers she tells them, "Be sold out for Christ. When we have a real relationship with Him, our hearts are changed from the inside out.”
