Getting started in archery, and becoming an Olympian

Getting Started in Archery The USA Archery Web site offers a calendar of events and regional list of sanctioned clubs for all interested archers, along with contact information. Contact USA Archery for more information on clubs.
Joining the National Archery Association Become a member of the National Archery Association and receive event notices, club information, the NAA official newsletter, as well as the opportunity to become a member of the U.S. Archery Teams, which compete in national and international events.
Major Events Junior and Adult National and World Championships are held in two divisions: Indoor Field and Outdoor Target.
Becoming a U.S. Olympian In the Olympics, men and women compete in the Outdoor Target division. The Olympic Trials are open to archers who have posted a qualifying score at an NAA sanctioned event in the year prior to the Trials. The top five men and women finishers make the Olympic team.
