 As the Olympic Movement's longest continuous corporate partner, Coca-Cola began its association in 1928 and was the first Worldwide Partner to commit to long-term support through 2008. The company has been included in every Olympics since 1928. Through its partnership with the Olympics, Coca-Cola supports athletes in nearly 200 countries and is committed to sponsoring the United States Olympic Committee and U.S. Olympic Team through 2004. In 1996, Coca-Cola and the International Olympic Committee signed an agreement extending the company's commitment to 2008. |
