Olympic babies are everywhere

You are going to need a changing table in the bullpen for the USA Softball National Team.
Lisa Fernandez became a mom on Dec. 19, 2005, when her first child, son, Antonio Mayo, was born.
And now, the word coming from her grandmother via spysoftball.com, Jennie Finch has given birth to her first child as well with her son, Ace Shane Daigle, arriving on May 4, weighing in at 8 pounds, 10 ounces and 21" long. The boy's name make since Jennie and husband Casey Daigle are both superstar pitchers.
It's been quite a week for dad, Casey. Earlier in the week, he got called to "The Show," when the Arizona Diamondbacks recalled the right-hander to the majors from the Pacific Coast League's Tucson's AAA team.

It's been Olympic baby-mania of late.
On May 1, the wives of both Olympic gold medalist Shaquille O'Neal ('96) and Beijing Olympic hopeful Kobe Bryant gave birth to girls just six minutes apart.

In mid-April, Olympic swimmers Dara Torres and Summer Sanders both became mothers for the first time.
On April 18, three days after her own birthday, Dara gave birth to Tessa Grace Torres-Hoffman. Three days later, April 21, Summer, 33, gave birth to Skye Bella Schlopy after 40 hours of labor. Skye's father is none other than three-time U.S. Olympic skier Erik Schlopy.
