Eleven Athletes Win Overall Titles At Kneeboard National Championships

POLK CITY, Fla. - Eleven athletes won overall titles at the 23rd annual Kneeboard National Championships, Sept. 8-9, at Lake Pryor in McDonald, Tenn. The championships featured the nation's top kneeboard athletes competing for national titles in slalom, tricks, freestyle and flipout events.

Athletes competed in 11 age divisions, ranging from Junior to Open. In the slalom event, competitors attempted to ski around each buoy in a six-buoy course, with the towline being shortened each time a complete pass was achieved. The subjectively-scored freestyle event included a variety of flips and aerial maneuvers.
