Update on Condition of U.S. Luger Samantha Retrosi

This is an update on the condition of U.S. luger Samantha Retrosi (Saranac Lake, N.Y.) after her crash earlier in the day during the first round of competition. Comments by Ed Ryan, Director of Sports Medicine for the USOC, who is at CTO Hospital in Torino with Samantha.
“Everything is looking good, Ryan said. “All of her scans have come back normal. She will spend the night at the hospital because she has a slight concussion. But, again the scans and the other tests have all been normal. She’ll be re-evaluated in the morning and we expect her to be discharged from the hospital tomorrow.”
