All six US World Junior Championships Medalists Added to Line Up for 2007 Marshalls U.S. Figure Skating Showcase

 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (March 14, 2007) – The six U.S. medalists from the 2007 World Junior Figure Skating Championships have been added to the line up for the 2007 Marshalls U.S. Figure Skating Showcase in Reading, Pa., on April 6. The athletes include gold medalist Caroline Zhang, silver medalist Mirai Nagasu, bronze medalist Ashley Wagner, gold medalist Stephen Carriere, and pairs gold medalists Keauna McLaughlin & Rockne Brubaker.
These U.S. skaters contributed to the most successful U.S. Team in the history of the event, which took place Feb. 28-March 4 in Oberstdorf, Germany. The U.S. Team won five of the 12 medals available and three of the four gold medals. The six U.S. medalists all set personal bests under the international judging system at the event, and all six now reside on the list of the top-40 international scores, which includes the senior level.
The skaters will join the entire 2007 U.S. World Team, Olympic silver medalist Sasha Cohen and U.S. pairs bronze medalists Naomi Nari Nam & Themi Leftheris at the April 6 exhibition in Reading. Athletes are subject to change.
The Marshalls Showcase will take place at the Sovereign Center at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are now on sale, and prices start at just $15. The event will be broadcast on ABC on April 14 from 4-6 p.m. EST.
